The connected job path

One customer record follows the work from enquiry to books.

Each completed stage supplies the context needed by the next, reducing duplicate entry and disconnected project records.

Roles and access

Give each person the surface they actually need.

Use the least access needed for the job. Customers do not need a METIOR PRO account to review a quote or pay an invoice.

Admin integration checklist

Connect payments and accounting without changing who controls the money or books.

Integration setup is organization-specific. Have the Stripe and QuickBooks administrators available, test with a low-value record, and confirm the result before enabling the workflow for the full team.

Stripe

Payments go to your organization

  1. Open Settings → Integrations as an admin.
  2. Connect and verify your organization’s Stripe credentials.
  3. Create a test invoice and confirm the payment destination.
  4. Send customers the private payment link generated for their invoice.
QuickBooks Online

Keep accounting as the system of record

  1. Connect using a QuickBooks administrator account.
  2. Confirm customer and invoice mapping.
  3. Review the first synchronization before relying on automation.
  4. Use Sync Now when a record is needed before the scheduled sync.

Troubleshooting

Fast checks for common blockers.

Start with the checks below. If the issue continues, record the page, time, user role, and exact error before contacting support.

I cannot sign in

  1. Confirm whether you are using Email or Phone sign-in.
  2. Use Forgot password for email credentials.
  3. If 2FA is enabled, enter the newest six-digit code.
  4. Wait for the resend cooldown before requesting another code.

My invitation link does not work

  1. Confirm the invite was opened with the email address it was sent to.
  2. An “already used” message means the account may already exist.
  3. An expired link must be re-sent by an organization admin.
  4. Do not forward invitation links between teammates.

A Blueprint AI item is flagged

  1. Open the cited source page and calculation reference.
  2. Compare the extracted dimension with the drawing.
  3. Correct low-confidence or mismatched quantities.
  4. Review the final scope and price before converting to a quote.

A customer cannot open a link

  1. Confirm the complete private link was copied from the latest email.
  2. Ask the customer to open it in a current browser.
  3. Re-send the quote or invoice if the token has changed.
  4. Never publish a private quote or payment link publicly.

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before your team changes its workflow.

These answers summarize the client walkthrough guide. Feature access can vary by plan and user role.

How long does setup actually take?

A solo contractor can create an account and begin in under five minutes. A five-person organization configuring users, Stripe, and QuickBooks should allow about 30 to 60 minutes once the appropriate administrators are available.

Can I keep using QuickBooks Online?

Yes. QuickBooks Online can remain your accounting system of record. METIOR PRO connects customer and invoice workflows, supports scheduled synchronization, and provides a manual Sync Now option when you need a record sooner.

Where do customer payments go?

Payments go directly to the Stripe account configured by your organization. METIOR PRO generates the invoice payment experience, but your connected Stripe account controls the payment destination.

Is Blueprint AI accurate enough to send automatically?

Nothing should be sent without human review. The extraction process cross-checks OCR references, dimensions, calculations, and confidence, then flags items that need attention. Your estimator remains responsible for scope, quantities, pricing, and the final quote.

Does METIOR PRO replace my estimator?

No. It reduces repetitive administration and organizes the evidence behind an estimate. The estimator still controls assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, allowances, pricing, and approval.

Do customers need an account?

No. Customers receive a private tokenized link to review and accept or reject a quote, and a separate private link to review and pay an invoice.

Can I keep my existing estimate templates?

Yes. Existing line items, assemblies, labour assumptions, markups, common scope language, and exclusions can be adapted into reusable METIOR PRO templates during onboarding.

Can different teammates have different access?

Yes. Owners, estimators, admins, bookkeepers, and auditors can be given access appropriate to their responsibilities. Integration settings and the central pricing library should remain limited to organization administrators.

What should I include in a support request?

Include your organization name, affected page, approximate time, user role, steps taken, and the exact error message. Add a screenshot if it does not expose customer data. Never include a password, one-time code, Stripe key, or other secret.

Still need a hand?

Bring one real workflow and we’ll help you find the right setup.
